Register for Northbrook Park District’s Safety Town Program for Children 4-6

The Northbrook Park District’s upcoming Safety Town program will give children ages 4 to 6 the opportunity to learn about safety, whether on a bus, bicycle, at the pool or around the house. Each day of the program will feature a different topic. The program runs 10am-12pm, Tuesday through Friday, starting next week and ending May 31 (no class on Memorial Day).…

Techny Prairie Activity Center Achieves Ventilation/Filtration Mark from UL Solutions

The Northbrook Park District’s Techny Prairie Activity Center (TPAC) successfully met the stringent criteria set by UL Solutions and achieved the UL Verified Ventilation and Filtration Mark, the first of its kind to measure the efficacy of ventilation and filtration systems in removing aerosols from enclosed spaces. TPAC is the first parks and recreation facility to undergo an assessment and receive this verification from UL Solutions.…
