At the east end of the Sky Harbor industrial park, Greenfield Park houses two ball fields, an outdoor recreation area and a playground. Benches and picnic tables surround the playground with a basketball court nearby.
History
In the early 1960s, J. Willis Green served as Chairman of the Sky Harbor Park Committee, which lobbied for a park to be built for children in the area. The park originally was known as Green Field, but over time the words were combined to become Greenfield Park. A pathway connecting the two ballfields was completed in 2020. The playground and basketball court were replaced in 2024.
