The Par 3 Anetsberger Golf Course is located in Techny Prairie Park and Fields at 1750 Techny Road in Northbrook. The golf course provides an excellent opportunity to walk a quick 9 or test your short game skills.
Hole yardages range from 95 to 190 yards and forward tees play from 60 to 120 yards. Anetsberger also offers a large short game practice area with a putting green, chipping green, two bunkers and 40 yards of fairway to work on your wedge game.
Alongside the course, Anetsberger offers a golf shop and registration, a patio/sitting area, vending machines and restrooms. Golfers can play on a first-come, first-served basis, without the need for tee times. Although motorized carts are not used, pull carts are available.
The Anetsberger Golf Course represents the new type of affordable, easier-to-play facility. The Park District considers the course an important component of its golf program, serving seniors trying to stay active as well as young families starting out. An afternoon at the course can provide a family bonding experience, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Anetsberger Golf Shop
Located directly Northeast of Techny Prairie Activity Center, the Anetsberger Golf Shop has all your basic golf needs. Stop in to speak with a Golf Shop representative, pay greens fees or use the restroom (seasonal).
Anetsberger Pond
Anetsberger Pond provides a space to hold water for golf course irrigation and is also a habitat for wildlife. There are three designated fishing pads to fish from on the south side of the pond. Fishing is not allowed around the perimeter of the pond adjacent to golf holes.
Live bait (night crawlers) are available for purchase inside Anetsberger Golf Shop for fishing in the pond located right behind the building.

History
The Anetsberger Golf Course was rebuilt in 2006 with grass tees, high-quality bent grass greens and an improved layout to allow players to have fun while improving their game. Designed by Jacobson Golf Course Design of Libertyville, the par-three course is geared toward juniors, seniors, beginners and players who want a shorter, more relaxed game.

Play 9 holes per day all season long with a Season Pass at Anetsbeger Golf Course. Push cart rentals are available for $5 and include rental tax.
