Board of Commissioners Meetings
The Board concerns itself primarily with questions of policy rather than administrative matters. The District’s Executive Director is charged with the administrative responsibility to implement the Board’s policies. The Board enacts and maintains appropriate policies, procedures, rules and regulations related to the operations of the District and the District’s facilities.

Finance Division
The Finance Division develops and monitors the financial performance of the Northbrook Park District. Responsibilities include financial reporting, budget, audit, debt management, purchasing and all other accounting functions of the District.

Freedom of Information Act
Requests for public records or inspection and reproduction of public records should be submitted via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request form. Examples of information available include: minutes of Board meetings, minutes of committee meetings, ordinances, resolutions, Board policy and procedures, land records, agreements, contracts, master plan, and fiscal budget.

Improving Community Spaces
Northbrook Park District develops a Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) annually as part of the budgeting process. Updates for capital projects taking place in our parks and facilities can be found here.

Northbrook Park District follows a strategic process of developing future plans and recording past performance. Information in this section includes financial reports such as budgets and audits, master plans, capital plans, and other reports.
