Join the Northbrook Park District for the Boys Lacrosse League for the 2026 Spring Season. The league welcomes all levels of players. Teams will participate and play in the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Association (IBLA) league and instruction is provided by Glenbrook North Coaches. Practices are on Mondays with games on the weekends. Players need to bring a helmet, gloves, arm guards, mouth guard, stick, athletic cup and shoulder pads to all games and practices; A team jersey is included in the fee.

If you are planning on playing this season, we ask that you register by March 2nd as that is the deadline for us to enter teams into the IBLA League.

All participants are required to be USA Lacrosse Members – $35 additional fee if you are not already a member. Purchase membership on USA Lacrosse website.

This program welcomes players of all experience levels and focuses on both skill development and gameplay. Each week, participants will train and compete in small-sided games held on Wednesdays at Techny Turf Fields. Players will work on key lacrosse fundamentals such as passing, catching, shooting, scooping, cradling, and defensive positioning. Sessions are designed to improve technique, build confidence, and encourage teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.

The Girls Lakeshore Lacrosse league is for beginner players looking to learn & play lacrosse in a team setting as well as players with minimal experience. Teams will practice 1x per week on Tuesdays & play in a house league on Sundays. U8 through U14 teams will be formed. All practices and league games will be held at Techny Turf.

Players will need a girls stick, goggles, cleats, and a mouth guard.

Children ages 5–7 will be introduced to the fundamentals of lacrosse in a fun and engaging environment. This program helps young athletes build confidence and coordination while learning the basic rules of the game. Participants will develop key skills such as scooping, cradling, passing, catching, shooting, and more through active play and age-appropriate instruction. Instruction will be led by Shermerville Lacrosse.

Prepare for the spring lacrosse season with a dynamic skills clinic designed to elevate your game. Players will focus on improving core techniques including shooting accuracy, defensive positioning, passing precision, and effective team play. Each session will feature situational drills and live gameplay to reinforce strategy, decision-making, and on-field communication. Instruction will be led by Shermerville Lacrosse.

This high energy camp experience for beginner to intermediate level players in grades 4 -10 includes lacrosse skills, making friends, and having fun! Camp combines drills and skills with camp games, relays, competitions, trivia and more in an atmosphere that the kids (and coaching staff) love!
