Indoor Hockey
The Northbrook Sports Center is home to two NHL-size ice rinks, community rooms and The Glenkirk Cafe concessions stand.
Outdoor Hockey
Outdoor Hockey is available at Meadowhill Park only during the winter months. The district needs 72 hours of weather below 15 degrees to begin freezing the rink, followed by 5 days of below-freezing weather before skating is allowed.
The outdoor ice rink is not supervised. Skating involves a risk of injury; therefore, participation is at your own risk.
Rental skates are available at the Northbrook Sports Center for $8/day; call 847-291-2993 for details.
