A Special Use application must be completed as well as Host Liquor Liability Insurance with “Northbrook Park District – 545 Academy Drive, Northbrook, IL 60062” listed as additionally insured.

Techny Prairie Activity Center offers a variety of room rentals. Whether you’re planning a birthday, family gathering, reunion, celebration of life, bar mitzvah, wedding/baby shower, or any other event, we’ve got everything you need to create an unforgettable experience.
Alcohol permits are available for events in the Prairie Room with Special Use Application.

Northbrook Community Center (Leisure Center)

Northbrook Sports Center
✅ Now Accepting Rental Applications
Northbrook Sports Center offers an ideal location for room and ice rentals for your next event. Rent the rink for your private party or host an event during public skate. A certificate of insurance is required for private ice rentals.
The Community Room is great for parties and can accommodate up to 100 people and the Multi-Purpose Room can accommodate up to 60. The Community Room is equipped with an oven, refrigerator/freezer, sink and microwave. Rentals require a $75 refundable deposit.
Alcohol permits are available for events in the Community Room with Special Use Application.

Skating Group Outings/Events
Stay cool at the Northbrook Sports Center! Bring your work or school group for a field trip. We can provide discounted skating rates for groups. Call 847-291-2993 for details. All organized groups, businesses and private instruction require a permit.

Dressing Rooms
There are two dressing rooms that can each accommodate approximately 20 adults. Both are located in the basement level of the technical support addition attached to the rear of the stage house. Each dressing room has its own lavatory (sink and toilet) and counters with lighted mirrors. Green room is adjacent to dressing rooms. There is a costumer’s area for costume repairs.
Village Green Center

In the heart of downtown Northbrook, in a popular park, the Village Green Center houses a community room available for parties and meetings.
Alcohol permits are available for events in the Community Room with Special Use Application.

Greenbriar School Gymnasium

Built in 2011, this full size gymnasium for 450 people at Greenbriar School is available year-round for practices, games and parties. The lobby capacity is 75 people.
