Auditions for ‘Freaky Friday: A New Musical’
Calling all community members ages 9+ interested in performing on stage! Join Northbrook Community Theatre for Freaky Friday: A New Musical this spring. Directed by Katie Denten, David Zizic, and Rhys Steele.
Synopsis
Teenager Ellie Blake and her mother Katherine do not get along, which is why it doesn’t help when Ellie and Katherine switch bodies! Now (the day before Katherine’s wedding), Ellie and Katherine must learn to understand each other before they are stuck in each other’s bodies forever. Based on the classic novel and films of the same name, Freaky Friday brings all the humor and heart of the original story to the stage in this musical adaptation. Come join us!
Auditions
Auditions for Freaky Friday: A New Musical will be held March 16 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Callbacks (if necessary) will be held on March 17 and 18 from 7:15-8:30 pm. All registrants should fill out the Google form at the bottom of their registration receipt to schedule an audition appointment. All participants will be assigned an audition time on a rolling basis beginning on Monday, March 16.
Performances
Performances will be held at either Field Middle School or Northbrook Public Library while Northbrook Community Center is closed for renovations on May 15 and 16 at 7pm, and May 17 at 2pm.
