When 12 year-old Evan Goldman’s parents get divorced, he is moved from his intense, preteen New York City life to a quiet Indiana town. Now the new kid at school, Evan needs to establish his place within the popularity food chain that is middle school. His goal? To throw the best Bar Mitzvah that Appleton, Indiana has ever seen! Along the way, Evan learns about the importance of genuine friendship, and being true to oneself.
