National Senior Health and Fitness Day

Join us in celebrating National Senior Health & Fitness Day with a variety of free health & fitness programming tailored for seniors.

The day will include experts who will address health-related topics, body composition analysis with InBody Scans, fun games, giveaways, healthy snacks, Open Gym Pickleball and special Group Fitness classes, and access to the Walking Track. Register online for a quick check-in at the event; registration will be available in-person on May 27.

Activity Schedule

9am – 1pm: Registration & Social

Anytime during the event you’re welcome to enjoy healthy snacks and refreshments, spend time with friends, visit our sponsors and vendors, do an InBody Analysis scan, walk the track or speak with staff from Techny Prairie Activity Center and Northbrook Park District.

9:30am – 10am: W.O.W. (Wonderful Overall Workout)

Join us for a W.O.W. class in our Fitness Studio! This low-impact class focuses on light cardio, strength and balance work and is appropriate for all levels.

10:15am – 10:45am: Barre

Join us for a Barre class in our Fitness Studio! This low-impact class uses elements of ballet, pilates and yoga to target upper, lower, and core body toning and is appropriate for all levels.

11am – 11:30am: Cardio Drumming

Join us for Cardio Drumming! This cardio drumming class is a high-energy, low-impact workout that blends rhythmic drumming with upbeat music and dynamic movements and is appropriate for all levels.
