The Park District offers a variety of adult athletics, including softball, basketball, volleyball and pickleball.

“Northbrook Park District leagues and programs are great for staying active and hanging out with friends” said Ian Booker, Recreation Supervisor. “We love seeing people outside enjoying sports as the weather gets warmer. You can also take your game indoors at our new Techny Prairie Activity Center (TPAC) with a selection of open gym activities.”

Softball
The season consists of 12 games, played at Techny Prairie Park and Fields, plus a single elimination playoff with awards. Registration deadline is Friday, April 23 at 5pm, with games beginning May 10. Men’s 12” and Co-Rec 14” leagues are available. Build a team or sign up to be added to a team.

Basketball
Bring your team or be a free agent for an eight-game Adult Basketball League season at TPAC, starting April 7. The season is followed by playoffs with the top four teams in each division.

Pickleball
Grab your paddle and play this popular, active sport! Six dedicated pickleball courts are available at Stonegate Park, 3425 Whirlaway Drive.
