Celebrate the season of pumpkin spice and everything nice with an afternoon of hayrides, entertainment and a variety of awesome autumn activities!
Set for 2-6pm Saturday, October 12 at Meadowhill Park, 1479 Maple Avenue, the free Northbrook Autumnfest features hayrides, face painting, crafts, a pumpkin patch and pumpkin decorating contest. Other activities include a bonfire with s’mores, a sports challenge, inflatables, live children’s music and DJ entertainment.
“Autumnfest is a great way to welcome fall and make family memories,” said Recreation Supervisor Laura Wassinger. “We have so many wonderful activities planned and are looking forward to seeing the community come out for an afternoon of fun.”
The schedule includes:
2pm: Autumnfest opens
2:15pm: Northbrook Theatre Youth Company Performance
2-4pm: Istvan and his Imaginary Band (children’s band)
5pm: Pumpkin decorating contest winners announced
