In the heart of downtown Northbrook, located in the popular Village Green Park, the Village Green Center houses Athletics and Aquatics Department offices and a community room that is currently serving as the Northbrook Park District Senior Center space.
History
The building was constructed in 1947 as a Youth Center, then modified for offices in the 1960s and transformed into a Senior Center in the 1970s before evolving into its current use. The Senior Center was relocated to the Leisure Center on Walters Avenue in 1993.
