Auditions for ’13 JR.’

Northbrook Theatre Youth Company is a recreational theatre program that creates quality productions with young actors. They perform age-appropriate musicals, suitable for family viewing. Young children will have the opportunity to grow through the performing arts as they work with professional staff and perform onstage – an exciting and rewarding experience. Youth Company will present 13 JR. this fall!
Synopsis:

When 12 year-old Evan Goldman’s parents get divorced, he is moved from his intense, preteen New York City life to a quiet Indiana town. Now the new kid at school, Evan needs to establish his place within the popularity food chain that is middle school. His goal? To throw the best Bar Mitzvah that Appleton, Indiana has ever seen! Along the way, Evan learns about the importance of genuine friendship, and being true to oneself.

Auditions
Auditions for 13 Jr. will be held September 3 and 4 from 4:30-7:30 pm. Callbacks (if necessary) will be held on Setpember 6 from 4:30-6:30pm. All registrants should fill out the form at the bottom of their registration receipt to schedule an audition appointment.

Rehearsal Info

Families will have the option to register for the Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday cast. Rehearsals will be held on each cast’s designated day, with an additional weekly rehearsal each Sunday. Sunday rehearsals will be held from 1-3 pm (Tuesday cast), 3-5 pm (Wednesday cast), and 5-7 pm (Thursday cast). Additionally, there will be one additional rehearsal on Saturday, 9/27 from 12-6 pm. No rehearsal 9/23, 10/1, 10/2.

Performances
Performances will be October 25 and 26 at 10 am, 1 pm, and 3:30 pm.
