The turf fields at Techny Prairie Park and Fields are now closed to replace the existing turf. The turf, installed in 2006, had an expected life-span of ten years which has been exceeded by three years. This Capital Improvement Project was budgeted for in 2019.
This new high-quality, durable turf will provide an outstanding facility for the community for many years. The turf fields are anticipated to reopen in early fall.
