Families are invited to the upcoming Brunch with the Bunny at the Northbrook Park District, which for the first time will include an egg hunt for children who are registered for the event.

This annual tradition is a family favorite that features a delicious brunch, crafts, activities and a visit from the Spring Bunny. The event takes place from 10-11:30am on April 12 at the Leisure Center, 3323 Walters Avenue, in Northbrook.

“Brunch with the Bunny is a great way to enjoy family time while celebrating the season of spring,” Recreation Supervisor Maria Warren said. “This event is for all families, whether they are celebrating a holiday this time of year, or are just excited to be welcoming warmer months.”

Children will enjoy a variety of crafts and activities such as making hands-on bunny themed art.

The brunch menu will include chicken limone, scrambled eggs with cheese, rigatoni in vodka sauce, loaded cheesy tater tot casserole, breakfast sausage links, French toast casserole and fresh fruit salad.

Tickets for Brunch with the Bunny are $35 for residents and $45 for nonresidents (tickets are per person). Children under 24 months can attend free of charge. For more information and to register, visit nbparks.org/bunnybrunch or call 847-291-2993.
