Northbrook 4th of July Parade applications are now open opens in new tab and community groups are invited to be a part of this decades-old Northbrook tradition. The 4th of July Committee, comprised of staff members from the Village of Northbrook opens in new tab and the Northbrook Park District, is currently accepting applications through Thursday, June 22.
Community and non-profit groups may include sports clubs, youth groups, charities or volunteer service organizations. Participating in the Northbrook 4th of July parade allows you to share your brand message with thousands of people along the parade route. Available entry categories include:
- Commercial Groups and Area Businesses – $50
- Political Candidates and Elected Officials – $50
- Community and Non-profit groups – $25
In addition, the committee is seeking sponsors for the parade. Sponsorship is available at several levels opens in new tab, ranging from Bronze at $300 to Platinum at $1,500. Each sponsorship level includes a variety of benefits such as free entry into the parade and marketing exposure through signage, promotions and advertisements.
Bands and Specialty Groups may also apply to participate and request a performance fee using a separate application form. Visit northbrook4thofjuly.com for more information or to submit your parade application today. The deadline to participate in or sponsor this year’s parade is Thursday, June 22.
This year’s parade route will be slightly reduced to a 0.7 mile route that will begin just west of Westmoor Elementary School, located at 2500 Cherry Lane, and end at Village Hall, located at 1225 Cedar Lane.
