Boys Lacrosse League (Spring, Fall)

The Northbrook Park District joined with the Park Districts of Highland Park and Glenview to form the North Suburban Lacrosse Association. The league welcomes all levels. Player evaluations are the first week of practice, followed by team formation. Coaches are from the Glenbrook North High School. Practices are on Mondays and Wednesdays, with games on Sunday afternoons with minimal travel to Glenview and Highland Park. Players need to bring a helmet, gloves, arm guards, stick, athletic cup and shoulder pads to all games and practices.

The league will be divided into four levels, with A and B teams if needed.
Grade 2 & 3: Bantams
Grade 4 & 5: Lightning
Grade 6 & 7: Junior
Grade 8: Senior

Girls Lacrosse Leagues (Spring, Fall)

Join a lacrosse league just for girls from the north suburbs, operated by the Illinois Girls Lacrosse Association.

The goal of the Illinois Girls Lacrosse Association (IGLA)┬áis to teach the rules through positive coaching within an active teamwork setting, encourage sportsmanship and foster personal development in a respectful environment. IGLA has adopted the US Lacrosse ‘Players First’ athlete development model which means smaller fields and a smaller number of players. This keeps players more engaged, allows more touches on the ball and further develop skills. All practices are held during the week.

Registration is a 2 step process:
After registering, log on to The Illinois Girls Lacrosse Association website for T-shirt sizing, team information, game schedules and field locations. Each player must have goggles, a stick and a mouth guard. Players should bring their equipment to all practices and games.

Player Groups are divided by age into two groups :

Purple Level
