Face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated* people using Northbrook Park District facilities and amenities beginning Saturday, May 22, 2021 following the latest guidance from the CDC and the State of Illinois.

Face coverings are still required for non-vaccinated individuals including all children ages 2 through 11.

Patrons wishing to wear face coverings are welcome to do so, regardless of their vaccination status.

Staff members, volunteers and contractors will continue to wear face coverings regardless of vaccination status unless working outside or working independently.

By visiting facilities, participating in programs and using amenities without a face covering, users are verifying truthfully that they have been fully vaccinated.

The District continues to follow the DCEO Sports Safety Guidance at this time.

We will continue to watch for new guidelines as our area moves through the phases of the Restore Illinois Plan.

As a reminder, please do not attend programs, visit facilities or use park district amenities if you are sick.

*A fully vaccinated individual is someone who is two weeks past their second dose of a two-dose vaccination series, or two weeks past a single-dose vaccine.
