Make a splash at Northbrook pools this Summer! 2023 pool season passes are on sale now for the Northbrook Sports Center Pool and Meadowhill Aquatic Center. A special early registration fee is being offered through May 1. Daily passes and ten-visit splash passes will also be offered this season.
Northbrook Sports Center Pool opens May 27 with pre-season hours which will expand beginning June 5 and closes August 13. Meadowhill Aquatic Center opens June 10 and closes on Labor Day. For more information, including daily schedules, visit our Swimming Pools page.
Northbrook Sports Center Pool, located at 1730 Pfingsten Road, features a 25-yard pool with six lanes, a leisure pool, a vortex pool, zero-depth entry, two diving boards, deep water diving pool with a drop slide and a climbing wall. At Meadowhill Aquatic Center, 1501 Maple Ave, swimmers can enjoy four separate outdoor pools—a lap pool, a children’s water playground, a diving area with three boards, and a pool with tube and body slides—along with a large sun deck with concessions offered on weekends.
Northbrook pools have a schedule with three main categories; Lap Swim, Children’s Play Area Only and Open Swim.
Designated times are available in the morning, Monday-Saturday, for lap swimming and water walking. Up to six lanes will be available for lap swim during the designated time on a first-come, first-served basis. Water walking will be available either in the lap lane or a designated adult area during open swim.
During children’s play, parents and children 10 years and younger can enjoy the zero-depth area. Access is included with a season pass or for a reduced daily fee of $4 for residents and $5 for non-residents. Children under the age of 2 are free. During open swim times, all pool areas are available including the main pool, children’s play area, slides, the diving well, lap lanes and adult-only area.
To add to the fun, special events such as the Northbrook Cardboard Regatta, Chalk the Deck, National Night Out and DJ on Deck take place offering something for the whole family.
