In appreciation for everything moms in the community do all year long, Northbrook Park District is offering two free recreation opportunities to celebrate Mother’s Day.
Moms can enjoy free use of the fitness floor, group fitness classes and the indoor track at Techny Prairie Activity Center. Group fitness offerings on Sunday, May 9 include All Level Yoga from 8:30-9:30am, WERQ from 9-10am and Flex Yoga from 10:30-11:30am. Class descriptions can be found at nbfitness.org. Moms will also receive a gift when they stop in for their workout. Registration is required upon arrival.
At Anetsberger Golf Course, moms are invited to golf for free on Mother’s Day. Visit the family-friendly par 3 course and enjoy 9 holes of golf at no charge. Moms also have the chance to enter a raffle to win a foursome on the Legacy 9 Course at Heritage Oaks Golf Club scheduled to open in late summer 2021.Techny Prairie Activity Center is located at 180 Anets Drive in Techny Prairie Park & Fields. Anetsberger Golf Course is in the same park at 1750 Techny Road.
