Northbrook Theatre for Young Audiences is a professional theatre company dedicated to presenting the highest quality shows to and for young people and family audiences. We operate under a Theatre For Young Audiences Agreement with Actors’ Equity Association, the national union of Actors and Stage Managers.
Our 268-seat theatre, located at 3323 Walters Avenue in Northbrook, is the perfect setting to share live theatre. Audiences of all ages can enjoy our performances. We offer group discounts, birthday party packages and weekday performances for schools and groups, which include curtain talks with the actors.
When are NTYA auditions?
Auditions for AEA, EMC, and non-equity actors are held every May.
When are the performances?
We offer a variety of weekday and weekend performances. More information is available here: Current Shows
How long is the performance?
NTYA shows have a running time of an hour or less with no intermission.
Can my children meet the actors?
On weekend shows the actors come into the lobby for a meet and greet and on weekday shows the actors lead a Q&A with the audience following the shows.

Is there a group discount?
Yes, there is a discount for groups of more than 20.
