From family activities to new fitness programming, there’s so much to choose in the Northbrook Park District’s online-only Winter 2021 Guide.

The guide features the latest updates about Techny Prairie Activity Center (TPAC), scheduled to open in January 2021. This includes information about new fitness and wellness classes, as well as Fitness on Demand™, a virtual platform available to members that provides streaming access to programs from top fitness experts and TPAC instructors.

The guide includes an exciting variety of virtual and at-home activities and special events like Winter Break Boxes, Virtual Holiday Family Feud, Kid’s New Year’s Eve Kit and Virtual Escape with Friends.

For seniors, there are activities and events to have fun and socialize with others in virtual Zoom programs.

Stay active with private sports lessons featuring pickleball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse and T-ball. Athletic events are also available, including a Punt, Pass and Kick Competition, Hot Shot Basketball Shooting Challenge and Free Throw Competition.

Work on your golf game with private one-on-one lessons and TrackMan® simulator leagues in the Meadowhill Park Chalet.

Master your skills with in-person and virtual dance lessons from Northbrook School of Dance and acting and voice lessons with our performing arts staff. For young theatre enthusiasts, casting begins in January for the virtual musical Super Awesome Happy News.

Also featured in the guide are popular painting events, with opportunities for all ages to get creative with themes such as winter trees, rainbow butterflies and Valentine’s Day cupcakes!
