Skip, hop and jump to Northbrook Park District’s Sunshine Preschool this fall, where new experiences, learning and hands-on fun await!
A rare few openings remain for 3 and 4-year-old preschool classes. The 3-year-old program builds on our Terrific Twos, with children learning through play and creating projects to enhance their knowledge. The 4-year-old program focuses on kindergarten readiness and includes activities to help children develop an understanding of the alphabet and numbers.
“I encourage parents to take advantage of these openings while they’re available,” said Recreation Supervisor Nancy Eschker. “Our preschool program is popular and it’s an amazing opportunity to have even a few spots open.”
Park District preschool classes are led by highly experienced teachers, offering a multifaceted program based on the philosophy of learning through play in a nurturing and supportive environment. Classes take place at the Leisure Center, 3323 Walters Ave.
“Sunshine Preschool offers a great opportunity to get your child prepared socially and emotionally for school,” Eschker said. “Our play-based learning keeps children engaged while developing their gross and fine motor skills. We prepare them for the classroom and we have such wonderful, loving, skilled teachers.”
