The Northbrook Park District has requested a zoning variance from the Village of Northbrook opens in new tab to improve the existing ball containment system at Heritage Oaks Golf Club, 3535 Dundee Road.
The proposed project includes replacing and increasing the height of the existing driving range netting and extending netting along a portion of the Legacy 9 golf course adjacent to Dundee Road. These improvements are intended to enhance public safety by reducing the potential for errant golf balls to reach Dundee Road and the facility parking lot. No new fencing or netting is proposed adjacent to neighboring residential properties.
