Swim Periods

Open Swim: Pools are open to all ages during this time including the wading pool and lap lanes

Lap Swim: Swimmers can use kick boards, fins and snorkels in the designated lap swimming area. Circle swimming is required when two or more swimmers are in the lane

Children’s Play Area at MAC and NSC Pool: During this time, parents and children 10 years and younger can enjoy the Zero Depth Area
Children 10 years and younger must be accompanied by someone age 16 or older.

Pool Closing Criteria 

The pool may close due to the following conditions:

  • Inclement weather
  • Air Temperature is below 65°, based on weather.com
  • Fecal or vomit introduced into the pool
  • Aquatic Emergency
  • Power Outages

The closing of the facility is at the discretion of the Recreation Supervisor
