Whether it is a first job for a teenager, a position that will help build a resume or skill set, or a full-time career level position, a variety of full time, part time and seasonal employment opportunities are currently offered by the Northbrook Park District.

Adventure Campus: Counselors and Site Directors

Adventure Campus is Northbrook Park District’s Before and After School Care for elementary students. Staff members engage students in educational and recreational activities that encourage teamwork, self-confidence, and fun. The Northbrook Park District partners with School Districts #27, 30 and 31 to offer organized activities for children grades K-5 at their schools and at the Leisure Center. The program follows a daily schedule that includes time for homework or quiet play, a snack, projects, and physical activity. Shifts include hours before and after the regular school day.

Customer Service

Several customer service positions are available at various locations throughout the District. Customer service staff members assist with registration, recreation information, in-person and telephone inquiries and present the first impression of the Park District to the community. Shifts include daytime, evening and weekend opportunities depending on location and facility hours.

Heritage Oaks Golf Club

Heritage Oaks Golf Club is scheduled to open to the public on Monday, August 16. Several positions are currently available including golf shop attendants and outside service workers to assist with bag drop, golf car and practice range functions.

In addition to the positions listed above, Open Kitchens, the restaurant group managing the Acorn Grill + Terrace restaurant at the golf course is also hiring for servers, bartenders, prep cooks, line cooks and dishwashers.
