Don’t put down the pumpkin spice latte just yet. Registration for new sessions of autumn activities at Northbrook Park District is underway.
New sessions begin in November for a variety of activities, covering everything from cooking and art to athletics and fitness. Many programs take place at the Leisure Center, 3323 Walters Ave.
In addition to classes, November is a great time to take advantage of ongoing activities such as fitness memberships at The Ridge, a convenient workout space at the Leisure Center. Personal training also is available.
Activities include Kindermusik for infants and their caregivers and Hot Shots youth sports classes.
“Halloween is coming, but that doesn’t mean fall is over. There are a lot of exciting things happening here at the park District,” said Katie Kotloski, recreation division manager. “We offer such a wide range of activities to our community. There’s something for everyone.”
Upcoming classes include:
• Zumba Gold
• Storytime Yoga
• Parent-tot activities for gymnastics, cooking, Spanish, sculpting and yoga
