Enjoy the outdoors with your four-legged friend!

Northbrook Dog Park offers the only park area where dogs can run and play off-leash.

Located at Coast Guard Park, 2490 Dundee Road, the park features an enclosed 2-acre area for all dogs, an enclosed .5-acre area for small dogs under 26 pounds, shelter, tables and benches and a soft walking path.

“Outdoor play has great benefits for our furry friends,” said Cameron Edelman, Recreation Supervisor. “Our dog park provides an excellent opportunity for exercise and socialization.”

Dog Park applications and Veterinarian Verification forms may be downloaded at nbparks.org or picked up at one of the following locations:

• Leisure Center, 3323 Walters Avenue

• Northbrook Sports Center, 1730 Pfingsten Road

• Village Green Center, 1810 Walters Avenue

Completed forms, along with a proof of a current Village Animal License may be brought to any Park District registration office. Annual membership fee is $49 for the first dog and $25 for an additional dog. Membership season is July 1-June 30, with no prorating.
