Spend an afternoon with your child enjoying pumpkin decorating, storytelling, s’mores, scarecrows and a great pumpkin challenge at the Northbrook Park District’s Pumpkinfest. The event is set for October 17 from 1-4pm at Indian Ridge Park, 3323 Walters Avenue. Each registered child receives a treat bag, pumpkin with an individual decorating kit and the opportunity to make and take home their own scarecrow. The event is entirely outside, stations are set up to ensure physical distancing, and arrival times will be staggered. Cost is $30 per adult-child couple for residents and $35 per adult-child couple for non-residents. Additional child cost is $15 for residents and $19 for non-residents.
