As the holidays approach, calendars start to fill up with festive gatherings and seasonal soirees. On sparkles and shimmers, contracting colors and themes wear your wildest patterns and come to be seen at our ugliest sweater contest and holiday cookie exchange. A prize will be awarded for the ugliest sweater.

Get in the holiday spirit by whipping up a double batch of your favorite treat – enough to share for take-home treats and to sample as we chat. It’s always nice to provide participants with a glimpse into the history behind the cookies. Bringing cookies that have personal meaning to you makes for great conversation and a more meaningful swap. Please bring enough cookies to go around so each participant can get a taste of your recipe. If you’re making cookies with nuts or any major allergens, be sure to clearly label them so participants with allergies are aware. Bring recipes to exchange and an empty container so you can take home cookies to enjoy and leave with a warm glow of holiday cheer. Sponsored by Whitehall of Deerfield.
