Techny Prairie Activity Center Maintenance Closure
August 20 - August 30
Techny Prairie Activity Center will be fully closed August 20–24 for annual maintenance so the following projects can be completed:
- Refinishing the gymnasium and fitness studio floors
- Deep cleaning the indoor track
- High dusting throughout the facility
- Rotating fitness equipment
- Deep cleaning the fitness floor
- Performing preventative maintenance on fitness equipment
The facility will partially reopen August 25. The gymnasium and fitness studios will remain closed until August 30 to allow floors to cure after refinishing.
Please note: Some group fitness classes will take place at other Northbrook Park District facilities during the temporary closure. Please view the schedule for more information.
