Ages: 8-14

Calling all young actors interested in performing on stage! Join Northbrook Theatre Youth Company for “Beetlejuice JR.” this fall.

Directed by Katie Denten, Rhys Steele, and David Zizic.

Northbrook Theatre Youth Company (NTYC) is a recreational theatre program that creates quality productions with young actors. They perform age-appropriate musicals, suitable for family viewing. Young children will have the opportunity to grow through the performing arts as they work with professional staff and perform onstage – an exciting and rewarding experience.

Synopsis

Gothic outsider teenager Lydia Deetz is adapting to life with a new step-mother and life in a new home, and is delighted to discover her new house is haunted by the kind and gentle, recently deceased couple named Barbara and Adam, as well as Beetlejuice, a zany demon with a real zest for life. Beetlejuice quickly turns the lives of Lydia, Barbara, and Adam upside down when he releases a world of chaos, comedy, and the unexpected!

Auditions

Auditions for Beetlejuice JR. will be held 8/25 and 8/26 from 4:00-8:00 pm. Callbacks (if necessary) will be held on 8/27 from 4:00-7:00pm.
