The Northbrook Park District is aware that daily lives of our residents have changed significantly. At this time the District’s open spaces are available to the public and will remain open until further notice. Bathrooms and fenced amenities in the parks are closed as part of the District’s efforts to slow the spread of Coronavirus.

The Northbrook Park District recognizes the importance of play, especially during stressful times. The District’s parks and open spaces are a wonderful community asset which we plan to keep open and available to the public while it is safe and advisable to do so. According to the CDC, for 15 days starting March 16 all social gathering of groups of more than 10 people should be avoided. We strongly recommend that members of the Northbrook community follow these guidelines and continue to observe the CDC’s minimum recommended social distancing of six feet from other people. If you are not feeling well, refrain from visiting the parks and trails until you are fully recovered.

This is a rapidly evolving situation and updates will be provided at nbparks.org/covid-19 regarding the future use of our parks and facilities.

Thank you for your continued efforts to slow the spread of Coronavirus, COVID-19. Together we can all help flatten the curve!
