The Northbrook Park District is giving the community opportunities to stay active and engaged with Connect-2-Play, a series of exciting at-home programs and activities.

Creative crafts, movement challenges and special events can be found at nbparks.org/connect-2-play. New activities are added daily and include scavenger hunts, silly jokes, golf activities and opportunities to win prizes.

“Play is essential, especially in these times where everyone’s routines have changed,” said Executive Director Molly Hamer. “Our talented recreation staff are continuing to find innovative ways to connect with the community through virtual programming, offering a fantastic selection of activities and events.”

Registration is required for some programs and events. Classes are filling fast but we will continue to add additional opportunities. In the meantime, check out the District’s library of Connect-2-Play daily activities including:

Move It Monday
Stay active while enjoying a variety of sports, fitness and dance.

Artsy Tuesday
Get creative with crafts, theatre and music.

Off the Wall Wednesday
Laugh along with jokes and silly videos.

Throwback Thursday
Enjoy photos and videos of the past from our activities and events!

Family Friday
Gather the household to try a new recipe, play games and enjoy time together.

Special Event Saturday
Celebrate the weekend with a special activity or live virtual event.

Self-Care Sunday
See tips and ideas for practicing self-care at home.
