The Northbrook Park District is on a quest to answer an important question this winter: Can you ever have too much pink?

Find out when Northbrook Theatre for Young Audiences presents Pinkalicious The Musical Jan. 19-Feb. 23 at Northbrook Theatre, 3323 Walters Ave. Based on the popular book series, the show tells the story of Pinkalicious, a girl who can’t stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her indulgence lands her at the doctor’s office with Pinkititis—an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe.

“This is a great show for families,” said Performing Arts Manager Erin Sweet. “Both parents and children can relate to this hilarious tale of overindulgence. It’s a very entertaining story that will have everyone laughing and singing along.”

Upcoming performances include:

• Saturdays, Jan. 19-Feb. 23, 10am & 1pm

• Wednesday, Jan. 30, 10am & 1pm

• Thursday, Feb. 14, 10am

• Monday, Feb. 18, 10am
