Following the incident that took place earlier today at the Highland Park July Fourth parade, Northbrook Park District has decided to close all facilities for the remainder of the day — including Meadowhill Aquatic Center and Heritage Oaks Golf Club. This decision has been made for the safety of the Northbrook community.
In coordination with the Village of Northbrook, today’s scheduled Bike Parade, Mile-Long Parade, DJ Entertainment and Fireworks have also been canceled.
