The Northbrook Sports Center is home to two NHL-side ice rinks, community rooms, The Glenkirk Cafe concessions stand, and Ron’s Skate Shop.
Outdoor Hockey is available at Meadowhill Park only during the winter months. The district needs 72 hours of weather below 15 degrees to begin freezing the rink, followed by 5 days of below-freezing weather before skating is allowed.
The outdoor ice rink is not supervised. Skating involves a risk of injury; therefore, participation is at your own risk.
Rental skates are available at the Northbrook Sports Center for $8/day; call 847-291-2993 for details.
Players focus on training and improving skills through concentrated exercises and drills, coached by the Northbrook Hockey League Staff. Interested in signing up as a goalie for camp? Participants will receive a individual instruction and a discount. Call 847-291-2993 for more details.
