Men's Leagues

The Northbrook Park District offers two seasons per year of Adult Men’s Hockey. The fall/winter season begins the first week in October and goes through April. Each team plays an 18-game season followed by a single elimination play-off, in which all teams compete. First-place divisional winners of the regular season receive a $500 credit toward their next season with us.

Post season play-off winners receive a trophy and a $250 credit toward their next season with us.

Divisions

Teams are split into divisions based on level of play. In the fall/winter season, there are three or four divisions, and the summer league usually has two divisions. The Park District supplies two IHOA-certified referees for each game, along with a staff scorekeeper.

The League fee for the fall/winter league is $3,900. Team registrations are accepted beginning in mid-August. A registration form and a minimum deposit of $500 are required to hold a spot. Teams paying the balance in full by their first game receive a $100 discount. Teams choosing to pay the balance monthly must secure their account with a valid credit card. All balances are due in full by the 9th game (mid-season).

Players who want to be placed on teams can leave their names with the league director. Their names will be circulated among all captains.
