Ed Rudolph Velodrome and Chalet
Take to the track, an official quarter-mile banked track with lights for evening riding. Adjacent to the Velodrome, the Chalet offers a rustic environment for events. The room capacity is 120 people. Call 847·291·2980 for details.
Field and Court Reservations

Players or groups can rent the hard courts at Wood Oaks Green, Crestwood, Stonegate, Oaklane, Williamsburg and West Park. The fee is $9/hour per court for residents and $15/hour per court for non-residents.
Teams and groups can rent the turf fields at Techny Prairie Park and Fields,
1750 Techny Road.
Planning a corporate outing or tournament? The Northbrook Park District has several ball fields for rent including lighted fields at the following locations, Techny Prairie Park and Fields, Meadowhill Park and Village Green Park.
Share your pride in Northbrook by adopting a park! The Northbrook Park District invites neighborhood groups, service clubs and schools to adopt a park.
- Plan activities or fund-raisers at the park.
- Help maintain and improve the site.
- Receive recognition with a sign in the park.
The Park District will work with your group to plan events and will continue to be responsible for regular maintenance of the parks. For more information about adopting a park, please call the Parks Division at 847·897·6115.
Tree and Bench
Looking for an unusual and green gift? Give a living gift and donate a tree to a Northbrook park. A tree provides a beautiful and caring gift of nature that benefits the community. Or, you can purchase a cast-iron bench to provide seating in a park.
The donations are a great way to honor or remember
a friend, relative, coach or teacher. All donations are
- Tree prices begin at about $300.
- We will assist you in your tree and location selection.
- The Park District will plant the tree and provide maintenance
at no additional cost.
A bronze plaque can be added to identify the donor and honoree; prices start at $125.
- The approximate cost of a six-foot cast-iron bench is $1,600, which includes a plaque and shipping. (If needed, a concrete pad is an additional $200)
