During Public Skating Times

Performing Arts Parties

Ready to Party?
Reservation dates are subject to staff availability, room openings and scheduling.
We require a minimum of two weeks’ advance notice and a $75 refundable security deposit. For information and available dates for a Performing Arts Party, call 847·291·2995.

Act up with an entertaining drama or dance party, or bring a group to enjoy a performance at the Northbrook Theatre. We can help plan an unusual and memorable celebration.

Theatrical Party (Ages 5 & Up)

Children and adults can attend any presentation by the Northbrook Theatre for Young Audiences or the Northbrook Theatre Children’s Company. You can rent a room at the Leisure Center at a discount for one hour before or after the show. You can have your celebration first and then see a live performance, or see the show and follow up with a party. Groups of 10 or more receive a discount on tickets and pay only $55 for the room rental. Tickets are $7 per person.

Dance Party (Ages 6-14)

Using popular songs, our instructor teaches awesome combinations that get everyone movin’ and groovin’. Our instructors know a variety of dance styles that are appropriate for all ages. As a special request, the guest of honor can choose a dance style. Dance until you drop at your next bash with our Dance Party package.

Royal Birthday Party (Ages 4-10)

Have your child feel like royalty at a party filled with majestic fun. Led by a Fairy Godmother, the guest of honor and court of friends learn to be royal princess/princesses through a series of gestures and dances. At the end of this engagement, each child receives a royal proclamation.

Theme Parties

We can create the perfect party for your group. Our staff takes the stress out of your event with full service, from the planning to the cleanup. Packages include a party facilitator, an assistant, decorations, birthday cake and goodie bags. The decorations include tablecloths, plates, napkins, utensils, cups and balloons.

NEW! Comedy/Ventriloquist Party (Ages 3 & Up)

Invite Chuck and Ziggy to your next party, and be prepared for laughter to fill the room. Your party will pop with an interactive, family-friendly performance. Ventriloquist Chuck Field will entertain and mesmerize your group, and the birthday child can be part of the act.

Traditional Party (Ages 4-10)

Get ready for a good, old-fashioned birthday party! Remember Pin-the-Tail-on-the Donkey and Musical Chairs? Choose games that are fun for everyone; the package includes prizes.

Chefs-in-the-Making Party (Ages 4-12)

Invite a group of friends to create personal pizzas, with the help of our enthusiastic cooking instructors. Parties use the Leisure Center kitchen and Crestwood A Room. The fee includes all food supplies.

Sports Party (Ages 4-12)

Turn your party into an athletic event! The birthday child can choose from a variety of sports. This is a fun and active party for boys and girls, and everyone is a winner. The package includes gym time.

Magic Party (Ages 4 & Up)

Make your party entertaining and memorable with the incredible magic of Gary Kantor. All shows are interactive, and vanishing acts, card tricks and mind reading are part of the fun. The birthday child is involved as a Junior Magician, and amazed guests enjoy participation as well.

Mini-Golf Party (April-October)

Celebrate any occasion with a game of mini-golf at Sportsman’s Country Club. All ages can enjoy the challenges, healthy competition and fun of an active, outdoor party.
